Cleveland Massage Parlors: NBA Draft Talk – OKC Thunder Need Blake Griffin…
Although this year’s NBA Draft won’t be as exciting – or as painful – to watch for KU fans as last year’s draft when everybody but the laundry guy was drafted off a Championship team, for Big 12 fans there is plenty excitement again as for the third draft in a row, a Big 12 stud will be drafted in the top 2 picks, this year being the ManBeast, Oklahoma’s Blake Griffin.
The last two years have seen Kevin Durant and Michael Beasley both go #2, and while I furiously campaigned at local gyms and massage parlors, err, barber shops, both times that each should go number 1, each time it fell on deaf ears because nobody outside of Big 12 Country cares about the Big 12….
That said, Durant has more than justified why he should have gone to Portland and KU alum Kevin Pritchard is still wondering how he ended up with a 50-year-old man disguised as a 7-footer who calls himself Gre …

Former Club 57 property being foreclosed on
ELYRIA — The property where a former Elyria strip club was operated is being foreclosed upon by the Lorain County treasurer.
DAS9 Properties and PS Realty Partnership, owners of the property that housed the now closed Club 57, 1854 Lorain Blvd., owe more than $63,000 in real estate taxes to the county, according to a complaint filed in Lorain County Common Pleas Court.
Cleveland Strip Clubs: County sues strip club for unpaid taxes, assessment and penalties
ELYRIA — The county sued the owners of the Club 57 strip club for foreclosure, contending the club has $63,578 in delinquent taxes, assessment and penalties.
David Shapiro, the club’s manager, said he was unaware of the lawsuit, which was filed Wednesday.
“I’ll have to look into that,” Shapiro said.
The lawsuit lists as defendants DAS9 Properties, a Cleveland Heights limited liability company, as a defendant along with PS Realty Partnership of Phoenix. Shapiro was listed as the statutory agent for DAS9 Properties.

In addition, Shapiro is under indictment for allegedly allowing a 15-year-old girl to work as a stripper at the club. He has pleaded not guilty to the felony child endangering charge and reportedly told police the girl told him she was 18. Prosecutors contend the girl, a runaway from Michigan, looked young enough that Shapiro should have checked her ID.
Cleveland Adult Entertainment: LETTER: Gun-wielding thugs get out
After the teenagers were murdered in cold blood, everyone is afraid to step out of the house, sit by the windows and go to the store. We’re all nervous and fear for our lives and the lives of our loved ones.
The Lorain Police Department says they will “beef up security,” as well they should. Unfortunately, two teenagers had to get killed in order for the police to come to this conclusion.
The police must walk the beat, drive around in their cars and ride their bikes in order to make their presence known. These officers must break up the corner hangouts. They need to get rid of the notorious prostitution activities which go on day and night. They need to stop the cars that go around repeatedly making drug deals.
Cleveland Adult Entertainment: Ex-Cleveland Patrolman Gets 1 Year for Sex with Prostitute
CLEVELAND (AP) — A former Cleveland police officer sobbed as a judge sentenced him to one year in prison for having sex with a prostitute while on duty.
Judge John Russo sentenced 43-year-old Duhamel Torres on Tuesday in Cuyahoga (keye-uh-HOH’-guh) County Common Pleas on his guilty plea to sexual battery and tampering with records.
After stopping a known prostitute, Torres used his police computer to get personal information about the woman, including her address and outstanding warrants. Authorities said he offered to drive her home but instead went to a secluded area and engaged in a sex act with her.
Torres’ attorney, Patrick D’Angelo, says the act was consensual and the woman was paid $5.

STRIP CLUBS-LAWSUIT
CLEVELAND (AP) – Look but don’t touch. That’s the gist of a ruling from a federal judge in Cleveland. The judge has upheld Ohio’s “no-touch” law for strip clubs. The law bans physical contact between strippers and their customers or between the strippers themselves. A trade group that represents adult businesses challenged the no-touch law, saying it could even be applied to ballet dancers. But the judge ruled the law doesn’t violate free speech or other constitutional rights. No reaction yet from the club owners.
HUNDREDS OF HATS
WICHITA FALLS, Texas (AP) – Hats off to Nat Flemming. For more than a-half century he collected cowboy hats. Flemming owned a Wichita Falls, Texas, western wear store called The Cow Lot. He would hang up his customers’ old hats when they bought a new one. Now that Flemming has retired, his unique 10-gallon collection is going to the Museum of North Texas History. More than 500 his cowboy hats will go on display next month. A local TV station (KAUZ) reports Flemming would even put a customer’s ID on tags on the hats before he would hang them up.

Ban On Dancer Contact Constitutional, Judge Says
POSTED: 3:23 pm EDT June 23, 2009
CLEVELAND — A federal judge has upheld Ohio’s “no-touch” law for strip clubs in Ohio.
U.S. District Judge Solomon Oliver Jr. in Cleveland said the state law that bans exotic dancers from touching patrons or each other does not violate First Amendment or other constitutional rights of the business owners.
The Buckeye Association of Club Executives, a trade group that represents cabarets and adult bookstores, sought to overturn the 2007 law, saying the ban is overly broad and could be applied to ballet dancers or other mainstream theatrical performers.
Oliver disagreed in his ruling Monday.
There was no immediate response from a lawyer who represented the adult businesses in the lawsuit.
