… Trailer Park” benefits local AIDS service agencies
“THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL” TO BENEFIT LOCAL AIDS SERVICE AGENCIES
The Great American Trailer Park Musical will be performed on Monday, August 24, 2009 (8:00pm) at The Cassidy Theatre in Parma Heights, and on Monday, September 14, 2009 (7:30pm) at Weathervane Community Playhouse in Akron. Spend an evening with the residents of Armadillo Acres trailer park in a laugh-filled evening, with a plot featuring a stripper, gossip, adultery, agoraphobia, hysterical pregnancy, huffing, kidnapping, trashy television talk shows, a bad perm, reckless driving, capital punishment, flan, singing, dancing, and – of course – a tornado headed for the trailer park.
Performed off-Broadway in 2005, “The Great American Trailer Park Musical” centers on Norbert and Jeanie Garstecki, whose plans for their twentieth anniversary celebration are sidetracked by Jeanie’s fear of leaving their mobile home…and by Norbert’s dalliance with the bombshell who just moved in next door, Pippi. As Norbert tries to choose between Jeanie and Pippi – and as Pippi’s ex-boyfriend, Duke, track …

Cleveland Strip Clubs: Goodell should focus on prevention over punishment

Posted in Cleveland strip clubs by cleveland-stripper on the June 19, 2009

He should do it because drunk driving is epidemic among NFL players (as it is in much of America). A San Diego Union-Tribune study found DUIs account for 28 percent of all NFL player arrests since 2000.
While no drunk driver merits sympathy, it’s a particular slap in the face coming from young men who can easily afford limos to chauffeur them around town. Some teams even use a company called Safe Ride Solutions, which will pick up any player and drive him home for free without ever disclosing his name to team management.
Player DUIs often get scant media attention. Yet, compared to some of the incidents that generate notice, they pose a greater danger to the general public. A late night brawl at a strip club makes headlines, but for someone other than employees to be affected they need to be at a strip club late at night in the first place.

Cleveland Strip Clubs: KNOTT: This reaction won’t dog Stallworth

Posted in Cleveland strip clubs by cleveland-stripper on the June 19, 2009

Stallworth did not try to lie his way out of it, as Vick did. He did not try to shift responsibility or explain away his actions in some obtuse way. He was legally intoxicated at the time of the mishap, and it hardly mattered that Reyes was in a hurry to catch a bus and should not have been on the roadway.
A judge this week evaluated the details of the case after the Browns wide receiver pleaded guilty to second-degree DUI manslaughter and sentenced him to 30 days in jail.
Of course, there has been no outcry with Stallworth. Animal-rights activists have no interest in holding protests. Members of the national press have not covered the case in brain-numbing detail. Television camera crews have not filmed Stallworth’s every move in public.
It has been treated almost as a dog-bites-man news story, which is understandable. After all, NFL players do have a history of hurting those who have the misfortune of being in their vicinity at the wrong time, whether it is a strip club, nightclub, roadway or living space.

Cleveland Strip Clubs: NFL suspends Cleveland Browns receiver Donte Stallworth indefinitely

Posted in Cleveland strip clubs by cleveland-stripper on the June 19, 2009

Despite the impending suspension and the distractions involved with keeping Stallworth, the Browns might not cut him this season because of salary-cap implications. If they release him, he would cost the Browns about $7.6¤million on their cap — or about 6 percent of the team’s $128 million salary-cap space.
Conceivably, he could remain property of the Browns all season, but not play a down.
Stallworth earned a $4.5 million bonus from the Browns the night before the accident, which he’ll keep because the Browns cannot recoup it. For every game he’s suspended, he’ll lose $43,823 — or 1/17th of his $745,000 base salary.
In 1999, St. Louis’ Leonard Little was suspended eight games by the NFL after killing a woman while driving drunk, but that was long before Goodell took over in 2006 and immediately cracked down on misconduct.
In 2007, Goodell suspended Adam “Pacman” Jones for one year in 2007 after a series of incidents, including a fight and shooting at a Las Vegas strip club that paralyzed a man.

Cleveland Adult Entertainment: Judge Michael Cicconetti actually has ‘empathy’ for the victims

Posted in Cleveland adult entertainment by clevelandconfidential on the June 17, 2009

Judge Cicconetti definitely has a soft spot in his heart for abused animals. On one occasion, he sentenced a man convicted of shooting a dog to donate 40 lbs of dog food on every holiday to a local animal shelter. The following is a short list of some of the more interesting and fitting sentences handed down by Judge Cicconetti in recent years:
-In 2008, a woman convicted of stealing from a church was ordered to spell out the sentence “I stole coins from this church and apologize to each worshipper as they enter the church.” in coins. She had to stand in front of the church on Sunday as the parishioners walked past her.
-In 2008, a man who stole a Salvation Army collection kettle with about $250 was sentenced to spend 24 hours on the streets in January.
-In 2007, three men caught soliciting sex were sentenced to wear chicken suits, while holding signs that read: “No Chicken Ranch in Painesville.”
