Cleveland Strip Clubs: Sparks Fly and Blood Spews as Kiss Alive 35 Tour Hits Cleveland
For this tour, reports of new costumes are hype. Kiss wore the standard ’70s-era makeup. Gene Simmons added some plate mail to his torso, and Stanley took the stage in black-and-silver glam suspenders, furry chest exposed.
With under-arm wings and a wagging tongue you can see from the cheap seats, Gene Simmons is still a convincing, deep-voiced demon. He spat blood and flew (on cables) to the top of the lighting rig, where he sang “I Love It Loud.” As the band launched into “Love Gun,” Stanley the Starchild zipped on a wire from the stage to a platform in the back of the arena. Over the set, he ran through his repertoire of reliable moves — disco strut, head-scratch, butt-shake, and stripper-style hip-wiggle. His voice hit and missed, but he made most high notes and wasn’t scratchy until end — his pipes, after all, were strong enough to score him a starring role in a production of Phantom of the Opera.

Cleveland Escorts: James Traficant Apologizes for Comparing Congressmen to …
Former Ohio Congressman James Traficant appeared on Hardball with Chris Matthews the other night and was his usual colorful self. Among other things, he apologized to for once comparing Congressmen to prostitutes. He apologized to hookers for the comparison. That’s just the beginning, he said a lot more.
…
“Years ago on the House floor on a foreign aid debate, I called the members of the House of Representatives a bunch of political prostitutes,” he said. “They demanded my words be stricken. They jumped up like 100 TV evangelists.” “I want to apologize to all the hookers in America for having associated them with the United States House of Representatives,” he continued. “Yeah, I think it is a big whorehouse and they better start taking care of America and stop worrying about the Middle East and worry about the Midwest.”
Cleveland Escorts: Traficant apologizes for Congress-hookers comment
Ohio may have given Washington Warren Harding, Dennis Kucinich and Sherrod Brown, but by golly, the Buckeye State gave the nation James Traficant, the most honest crook in the politics.
Out of the hoosegow, Traficant gave a good rant on Hardball on MSNBC — THE VIDEO.
I liked this best:
“Years ago on the House floor on a foreign aid debate, I called the members of the House of Representatives a bunch of political prostitutes. They demanded my words be stricken. They jumped up like 100 TV evangelists.
“I want to apologize to all the hookers in America for having associated them with the United States House of Representatives.”
It reminded me of the time that John McCain pointed out that Congress does not spend like drunken sailors. As a former drunken sailor himself, McCain pointed out that drunken sailors spend their own damned money.
Cleveland Escorts: Erin O’Brien keeps the flame for her brother, author John O’Brien …
… She’s really versatile,” Lewis continues. “There was another piece about a dive bar that was full of color and texture and mood. You could almost hear the bar chatter and smell the cigarette smoke. No matter the topic, she works hard to reveal the details and the truths. She makes it worth your time to read.”
Erin’s saucy banter on her provocative blog, “Erin O’Brien’s Owner’s Manual for Human Beings” (erin-obrien.blogspot.com), and deadly quips on her personal videos rock a room with laughter. They stand in stark contrast to the darkness and deadpan bitterness her brother brings to bear in “Better.”
Final novel is author’s metaphor
Written in 1990, four years before John’s death, the novel centers on a group of men and women living debauched lives inside a Malibu, Calif., mansion owned by a man named Double Felix. A pivotal prostitute in the story is called Zipper. The protagonist is William, which was also the name of the O’Briens’ late father.

Cleveland Strip Clubs: North Shore Door owner pleads guilty for role in ODOT bribery
But in a report completed last year by Ohio Inspector General Tom Charles, Charles accused O’Donnell of hosting an annual “ODOT Boat Day” on his 36-foot boat for himself, ODOT officials, vendors and Cleveland strippers, all of whom would spend a day “drinking, swimming and frolicking.”
The report said O’Donnell was trying to win the favor of Dennis Kratochvil, the ODOT district facilities manager, and the district equipment manager, Terrence Kosmata.
Kratochvil and Kosmata have not been charged in connection with the allegations, although Kratochvil has pleaded not guilty to an allegation that he threatened a witness in the case.
O’Donnell declined to comment Wednesday but said last month that the allegations against him centered on money he paid to help fund Christmas parties thrown by ODOT workers at Cleveland strip clubs.
Cleveland Escorts: Despite Recent Violence, Crime In Cleveland Is Down Overall
But despite the violence, crime in Cleveland overall is down over the last four years, according to just-released police records.
But the statistics don’t matter to City Council members who hear from their own neighbors.
“When I go home to a meeting, Mrs. Jones doesn’t care about the numbers going down overall. She’ll look out over her ward and she’ll say wait a minute, burglaries are up in her estimate and thefts are up,” said Councilman Eugene Miller.
But Cleveland Public Safety Director Martin Flask predicted that some crimes will continue to increase in Cleveland.
“I would think that prostitution, theft and burglary, because the economic environment, almost certainly we will see some trend changes. If we haven’t seen immediate trend change, we will see them over time,” Flask said.
