Cleveland Adult Entertainment: Up to 6 bodies found in convicted rapist’s home: US police
As authorities worked to establish the victims’ identities, Cleveland police initiated a search of missing person records from June 2005, when Sowell was released after serving a 15-year prison term for rape.
Department Lieutenant Thomas Stacho said police searched Sowell’s home because he was named as a suspect in a rape and assault case.
“It was such a disgusting sight” that homicide detectives discouraged Stacho from going into the house, he told CNN.
“I can tell you I stood outside the home for about an hour yesterday, and the stench from inside was overwhelming.”
The United States has experienced several gruesome multiple murders in recent months, including a case in September in which a Florida man was charged with slaying his wife and five small children.
In September, police arrested an alleged serial killer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin whose DNA was found on nine women murdered over a 21-year period, eight of them prostitutes.

Cleveland Escorts: Casino gambling brings extensive social problems
TOLEDOANS who love their city and know that it’s one of the nation’s best kept secrets also know that it’s a great family town with some of the amenities of bigger metropolises.
While there’s no question that it could be a lot better here, it could also be worse. As a matter of fact, if Issue 3 passes on Tuesday, our fine city and state will get a whole lot worse.
With the claim that the casino gambling industry will bring jobs to Ohio, there’s little talk about the types of jobs those would be, whether temporary or permanent, minimum-wage or living-wage.
Don’t be fooled. The ordinary Joe or Mary will not be hired to run a craps table. Those operators will probably be transferred from other states. So while those will be jobs, they will not be jobs going to Ohioans.
And do those jobs that casino backers count include prostitution that’s bound to come too?

Cleveland Escorts: Police find six bodies at Ohio home
Police asked members of the community who may have loved ones missing to come forward with photographs of the relatives in a bid to help the identification process.

Cleveland Strip Clubs: Cheech & Chong get set to light up Akron, man
But the two realize that they are institutions to a generation, and specifically the generation that now is at the peak of its earning (and spending) power. Hence, the reunion.
The unlikely pairing of the Canadian hippie and the East L.A. Chicano actually occurred in Canada.
“I’d never met a Mexican, so I put an ad in the paper for one,” Chong said, jokingly. (You’re more likely to see former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft at a Cheech & Chong show than get a straight answer from these guys.)
At the time, Chong was managing a strip club in Canada and playing music. The two actually began as part of a comedy trio, then segued into bandmates, and finally into the Cheech & Chong we’ve come to know, love and raid Oreo aisles in the 7-Eleven with.

Cleveland Strip Clubs: lebron and hasbeen + 10
Speaking of d-list reality stars and washed-up talents, Shaq now joins the ever-entertaining and spectacular LeBron James on his return visit to the Target Center. While I am very aware that we are only two games into the new season, the Big RealityStar is reminding all of us just how quickly he can turn an entire city of admirers into a legion of fans who want nothing to do with the guy. Whatever happens during the remainder of the season for the Cleveland LeBrons, you can bet it will be more recognizable to a TLC producer than Mike Brown. At least the Wolves had the good sense to vote their self-absorbed reality-wannabe off the island, unlike the Cleveland Kates who just let Jon back in the door for another year of camera time and stripper money one more shot at glory.
Cleveland Strip Clubs: US EPA Comes Up With Plan to Treat Water Contamination in Copley
The contamination was detected by odors in water from two wells serving a dry-cleaning shop, a hair-styling salon, a dentist’s office and a grocery store at 2777-2799 Copley Road.
Ohio EPA investigations focused on the now-closed Danton Dry Cleaners as the source.
In 1994, the Ohio EPA discovered toxic chemicals stored in eight homemade pits under the dry-cleaning shop. About 8,000 gallons of solvent-contaminated waste were removed from the leaking pits.
The plaza’s two water wells were abandoned. A trench and sump system were built to remove contaminants from the soil and groundwater.
Contamination also was discovered in nine residential wells off South Plainview Drive. Air strippers and carbon filters were placed on eight wells. One homeowner declined the EPA’s offer of assistance. Two homeowners have since switched to Akron water at their own expense.

Cleveland Adult Entertainment: The Heron’s Nest: Ya gotta Be-Lee-ve!
There is no boasting today in the Big Apple. There are only frowns. And the gnawing worry that this Yankees team does not have the magic of its predecessors.
Last night, all the magic was wearing red pinstripes.
And Cliff Lee, General Lee, was in full command of the troops.
Tonight there will be more dread for Yankees fans. An old nemesis will take the hill for the Phils.
Pedro Martinez is back. Let’s just say that he is not the apple of the Big Apple’s eye.
Start spreading the news indeed.
One down, three to go.
Another 15 minutes of fame
No doubt there must be a reality show in the works for Susan Finkelstein.
When Andy Warhol talked about everyone getting their 15 minutes of fame, he might have had her in mind.
Finkelstein is the woman charged with soliciting prostitution after she posted an ad on the Craigslist Web site “desperately” seeking World Series tickets.
Cleveland Strip Clubs: Report: New Orleans Hornets interested in Golden State Warriors swingman …
Over the last two seasons with the Warriors, Jackson has had his best scoring seasons. In 2007-2008, he averaged 20.1 points while in 2008, he had his best season yet, averaging 20.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.5 steals while shooting 41 percent from the field, 34 percent from three-point range and 83 percent from the free throw line in Don Nelson’s helter-skelter offense. He averaged 39.6 minutes per game, second in the league to Atlanta’s Joe Johnson.
Jackson has had several incidents in the league. Most recently, he was suspended for two games last weekend for “conduct detrimental to the team” by Nelson. Jackson subsequently said that he didn’t want to be a team captain anymore.
Jackson endured a 30-game suspension for his role in the infamous brawl in which he entered the stands and brawled with Detroit Pistons fans on November 19, 2004 while with the Pacers.
In 2006, he was charged with a felony count of criminal recklessness after firing several gunshots from a nine-millimeter pistol during an altercation at an Indianapolis strip club and served a seven-game suspension at the beginning of the 2007-2008 season for the Warriors.
Cleveland Adult Entertainment: Toughest Ticket in Town Phils fans searching for tickets, despite steep price
With their team in its second World Series in as many years, Phillies fans are in a frenzy. And much of the action is online.
Fans have headed to the Web in their search for tickets. Unfortunately, a seat at the game is not cheap. According to an Associated Press report, resale tickets for Game 1 dropped from $330 to about $270 for the cheapest seats because of the weather forecast.
Seats for games in Philadelphia were holding steady. Standing-room only tickets for Sunday’s game in Philadelphia were going for $400 minimum on Stubhub.com Wednesday night.
One fan, a Philadelphia woman, was arrested for prostitution charges after allegedly posting an ad on a Web site looking for World Series tickets. An undercover officer reportedly contacted the woman with regard to her ad and police said she was arrested after offering to perform sex acts in exchange for the tickets.
Cleveland Strip Clubs: Figure in ODOT case gets six months in prison
A former employee of O’Donnell’s sent an e-mail to the state accusing him of offering gratuities to ODOT officials in exchange for contracts at the agency’s Garfield Heights office.
The e-mail touched off an investigation that already has led to 10 ODOT employees and vendors being charged and Ryan Miday, a spokesman for Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason, said another wave of indictments is expected in the coming weeks.
O’Donnell, whose attorney did not return a call seeking comment, has said in the past he had little choice but to make payments for Christmas parties at Cleveland strip clubs for ODOT employees and vendors.
A report completed last year by Ohio Inspector General Tom Charles said O’Donnell’s involvement went far beyond paying for Christmas parties.
The report accused O’Donnell of hosting an annual “ODOT Boat Day” on his 36-foot boat for himself, ODOT officials, vendors and Cleveland strippers, all of whom spent the events “drinking, swimming and frolicking.”
