“The tax that will come from the casinos is going to education and something is better than nothing. You don’t see any other businesses knocking down our door to come to Ohio,” sophomore Rose Wilkins said.
Freshman Donna Hendrix is morally opposed to gambling. Hendrix said, “Casinos would bring all kinds of trouble to Ohio including addiction and prostitution.” Hendrix said Issue 3 would make gambling “a lot more accessible and would lead to higher crime rates.”
