Charles A. Ortner, 48, of Stratford paid $20 for a topless lap dance from 33-year-old Genvean A. Eggars of Milwaukee at Teasers Gentleman’s Club, C2490 Highway 153, in the town of Cleveland, according to a criminal complaint.

Cleveland Adult Entertainment: Giardini calls for resignation: Democrats squabble about Republican endorsement
… Mr. Flores took an oath when he signed his petition to become a Democrat precinct representative,” Giardini said. “The oath require him to support our party and its candidates. Mr. Flores has violated his oath and must resign his position with our party.”
Giardini also referred to Flores’ legal troubles when Flores was arrested in a prostitution sting in downtown Lorain in May 2008. Flores later pleaded no contest to charges of soliciting and physical control of a motor vehicle, according to court records.
“Of course, we should not be surprised that Mr. Flores would violate this oath,” Giardini wrote. “After all, he violated his oath as city councilman to uphold the laws of the City of Lorain and State of Ohio, when he drove his car while intoxicated and then solicited an undercover police officer posing as a prostitute, all in his own ward!

Cordray said his office will consider what resources and support it can provide and get other civic leaders in the area to also put together a plan to address the problem.
The parish has sought the demolition of a half-burned house across the street from the church but has been told by city officials that it cannot be done because of state regulation until next year.
“We need them torn down now, not a year from now, not six months from now,” Maturi said. “We need them torn down right away.”
Maturi said any meetings arranged by state officials would be nonpolitical and said the issue couldn’t wait until after the election. Strickland and Cordray, both Democrats, are seeking re-election.
These houses “are places for crime, for drugs, for prostitution, for rape,” Maturi said. “They are places where criminals can hide after they have committed a crime.”

… The whole system would go to hell in a hand basket if a closet Republican ran as a Democrat or if a closet Democrat ran as a Republican,” he said. “There has to be some safeguarding for a party to protect against folks who do that.”
In his letter, which was dated Sept. 22, Giardini also takes a jab at Flores’ 2008 arrest for soliciting a prostitute who was actually an undercover police officer and drunken driving, charges which were later reduced to failure to maintain control: “Of course we should not be surprised that Mr. Flores would violate this oath. After all, he violated his oath as city councilman to uphold the laws of the City of Lorain and State of Ohio when he drove his car while intoxicated and then solicited an undercover police officer posing as a prostitute, all in his own ward!”
