Cleveland Escorts: Strict parole conditions await convicted child molester
Convicted child molester and ex-high school vice principal David Wadsworth will face a host of special conditions once he’s released from prison.
David Wadsworth was sentenced to 40 months in prison back in July 2009 for producing, distributing and possessing kiddie porn. He has about ten months left to go including time served before sentencing. Wadsworth was declared a long-term offender to be monitored for ten years after leaving prison.
The National Parole Board, in a decision issued last week, says when Wadsworth gets out, the 56-year-old won’t be allowed to use the Internet, to be around minors unless there’s an adult around who knows about his criminal history, to associate with known criminals as well as drug dealers and prostitutes, or to have a relationship with anyone who has a child under 14 years. He must also tell his supervisor about any new romantic relationships and continue his therapy.

Cleveland Strip Clubs: Shockingly, Ohio’s No-Touch Stripper Rule Not Being Enforced
Shockingly, Ohio’s No-Touch Stripper Rule Not Being Enforced
…
19 Action News took their cameras undercover and into four Cleveland strip clubs and discovered what you probably could have guessed: Ohio’s “no touch” law for strip clubs isn’t enforced that often. Or at all.
Why Cleveland’s venerable local TV version of the National Enquirer would pursue such an un-American story is beyond us. Many municipalities are holding off on enforcing the law until the courts decide whether it’s legal or not, and the others, well, they are simply behaving as if it doesn’t exist at all. And it seems the only ones with objections to the handsy performances are the family groups who initially wanted a “six-foot bubble” around strippers.
…
Anyway, click on over for the tawdry tale of how strippers shove men’s faces into their chest to get a little more dough. Shocking stuff.
Cleveland Escorts: Hot in Cleveland: ‘Pilot’
It’s hard to imagine Hot in Cleveland having had even a fraction of its success Stateside with slightly lesser known or anonymous actresses (the pilot achieved the best ever ratings for its US cable channel TVLand). I’ll admit my affinity and nostalgia for Leeves’s days as quirky Mancunian Daphne Moon and White’s as the loveably naïve Rose Nylund attracted me in the first place. The humour is often one-note, sourced on the low self-esteem associated with ageing and trying to stay on top of your game. It’s the irresistible delivery by its famous stars that makes Hot in Cleveland worth its salt, particularly White who gets some jaw-dropping gems of her own (“Why are you renting to prostitutes?!”). It would be easy to say that it’s the novelty of watching an elderly woman unexpectedly spout insults, but with White in the role you know it’s backed up by excellent comic timing and years of comedy acting experience.

Cleveland Strip Clubs: Latesha Santos admits role in murder of Angel Bradley-Crockett, who police …
Prosecutors believe she was in a minor car accident with Stephon Davis and Santos that spiraled into robbery and murder.
Her murder drew public outcry and became a symbol of police neglect after reports that two Cleveland patrolmen drove past her dead body at more than 50 mph and called it in as a dead deer. An ODOT worker reported the body two hours later.
As a result, Patrolmen Matthew Prince and David Muniz were suspended for six months without pay, and Cleveland police now monitor the movements of patrol cars, which are equipped with automated vehicle locators.
A report showed the pair spent hours sitting in a cemetery and a strip club parking lot when they reported they were still working high-priority calls or patrolling the city’s streets during the first four months of last year.
Cleveland Escorts: ‘Flying Bank Bandit’ still grounded
GRAFTON, Ohio—It’s Valentine’s Day, but for one prisoner, it’s also his birthday. At age 81, he’s one of the oldest men imprisoned in Ohio.
Frank Sprenz is known to be studious and soft-spoken, but he’s also a reputed bank robber, car thief, and killer.
On Sept. 25, 1995, he instigated the murders of two women. Kay Westfall, 36, and Jessica Bittner, 15, perished in a house fire that was purposely set by two of Sprenz’s henchmen.
Westfall and her roommate Jackie Wright worked as prostitutes at his massage parlor. Wright began keeping records which worried Sprenz who in turn paid two men $300 to set their house ablaze.
Wright escaped the fire, but Westfall and Bittner were trapped inside. Sprenz was convicted of two counts of involuntary manslaughter and aggravated burglary, and sentenced to 35-75 years.

Cleveland Strip Clubs: Copley residents on EPA test list
Contamination also was discovered in nine residential wells off South Plainview Drive. Air strippers and carbon filters were placed on eight wells. One homeowner declined the EPA’s offer of assistance. Two homeowners since have switched to Akron water at their own expense.
…
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is contacting the owners of 61 houses and condominiums in Copley Township near the former Copley Square Plaza in hopes of collecting indoor air samples.
The agency wants to make sure that the air in the 61 homes is safe and that contaminated vapors are not getting into basements from a pollution problem that surfaced in 1990.
The EPA plan involves the Meadows of Copley condominiums and nearby houses on Copley Road and side streets east of Jacoby Road.
The owners had agreed about a year ago to let the federal agency collect the samples to gauge whether certain volatile organic compounds were moving through the soil from the now-closed dry-cleaning shop at Copley Square Plaza.

Cleveland Escorts: Officers missed 15 chances to catch killer Peter Chapman
Some of the findings of the report – which has so far only been released to Ashleigh’s mother Andrea – are:
No records were made by Cleveland Police about why officers were not dispatched to an ANPR hit;
The ANPR system at Durham was unreliable and often did not work;
There are no policies in relation to ANPR at North Yorkshire Police.
Last March Chapman was jailed for a minimum of 35 years after he pleaded guilty to raping and strangling Ashleigh.
He had befriended the Darlington trainee nursery nurse on Facebook by posing as a 19-year-old. He later killed her and left her body on the outskirts of Sedgefield, County Durham.
It emerged that Chapman had been linked to a number of sex crimes including the knifepoint rape of two prostitutes he picked up in Middlesbrough.

Cleveland Adult Entertainment: ‘20/20′ subject ‘Bobie’ Brooks dies at 63
The 20/20 segment ended with Brooks sprinting eastward on Mill Street, while Rivera charged that Brooks had been given a slip of paper by Barbuto with the names of five prostitutes who allegedly had been intimate with the judge, according to McKnight’s report.
…
As always, the $478 payment arrived on time in the mailbox.
”My wife called me, crying, and she goes: ‘You won’t believe what we just got in the mail today!’ She said it was Mr. Brooks’ rent.”
Landlord Todd Marcum of Akron said a check from Willie G. ”Bobie” Brooks, who lived alone in the back apartment of Marcum’s duplex in the 500 block of Baltimore Avenue, arrived Wednesday like the payments had every month for the past two years.
”Oh, man, Mr. Brooks was the perfect tenant very meticulous and paid his rent on time every month. He was the best tenant you could ask for,” Marcum said.
Mr. Brooks, who rose to nationwide notoriety in 1980 after ABC reporter Geraldo Rivera chased …
Cleveland Escorts: Primary election 2011: Pair of challengers gunning for Lorain mayor
Drwal said he intends to run on his record.
“I feel really confident about myself and what I’ve done and the commitment I made when I first ran. I’ve been working toward making the city safer … I’ve never missed a meeting. I hope I’ve proven myself to the constituents of the 2nd Ward,” Drwal said.
The former Lorain firefighter of 31 years serves as chair of the Police and Fire Committee and is the vice president of the Ohio Association of Professional Firefighters.
Drwal declined to comment on Flores, who is no stranger to controversy.
Flores lost his seat to Drwal in 2008 after being arrested on the charges of driving while intoxicated and soliciting prostitutes and ultimately pleaded no contest to the charges of solicitation and physical control.
Cleveland Strip Clubs: Court reverses decision to OK expansion of local strip club
ELYRIA — The appellate court has reversed a February 2010 decision from Lorain County Common Pleas Court that ordered Carlisle Township trustees to give a zoning permit so a strip club could expand.
The 9th District Court of Appeals ruled yesterday the county court should not have ordered trustees to give a zoning permit to Harley Rowe, a proprietor of The Brass Pole, 639 Oberlin-Elyria Road, to expand the business.
The Brass Pole opened in 2003, and approximately one month later, township trustees rezoned areas, including where the club is located, to prohibit adult entertainment from locating in those areas, according to the court documents.
The 9th District stated Carlisle Township was right to deny nude dancing in the expansion.
Rowe could not be reach for comment.
