Cleveland Strip Clubs: Indians, Tigers, Pirates and Reds fighting population loss in the Rust Belt
The Indians have tried to respond. They’ve slashed seat prices in the bleachers from $20 to $10 and in the upper-deck seats behind home plate from $16 to $8. The decline has left the Indians with a gorgeous stadium and 130 luxury suites and not that many people to fill them.
“The deterioration that has taken place is shocking,” says former Indians pitcher Brian Anderson, a Cleveland-area native. “I love it there. But if you’re a kid and go to college, unless you’re in the medical field, why are you going to stick around?
“Look at what happened to The Flats. That was the place you wanted to go to have a good time. Now it’s a place you go if you want to get shot.”
One bar was open Tuesday night after the Indians’ game. The lone parking lot with activity was Christie’s Cabaret, a strip club.

Cleveland Strip Clubs: At the Lincoln — A double dose of ‘Major League’
Posted Apr 28, 2011 @ 11:11 AM
The signs of spring abound, everything is ready if only the skies would clear. If you need to laugh then join us this weekend for a doubleheader. We will begin with “Major League” starring Charlie Sheen, Tom Berenger and Corbin Bernsen. Filmed in Cleveland, the story goes like this: The stripper who inherits the Indians when her husband doesn’t survive their honeymoon wants to move the team to a warmer climate. She purposely puts together a horrible team so they’ll lose and she can get out of her contract with the city.
Now I am sure many of us have often suspected that was going on. The team finds out about the plot and tries to play baseball. It is funny.
“Major League II” follows the same stars as World Series contenders when bad decisions by the new owner threaten to tear the team apart.
Cleveland Adult Entertainment: Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are “Hot in Cleveland”
… The Hollywood power couple, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher is trending in Cleveland Ohio on the popular micro-blogging site twitter.com. Twitter users are tweeting about Aston and Demi’s recent campaign “Real Men” which is the couple’s latest fight against human trafficking. From their verified twitter.com accounts, both Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher continue to tweet about the severity of human trafficking, and urge their followers to spread the word to get this inhuman situation stopped.
Ohio itself is no stranger to human trafficking. In fact according to change.org just last year our buckeye state has become a hot bed for human trafficking. The Trafficking in Persons Study Commission found that 1800 people are trafficked in Ohio every year. This includes 800 immigrants who are exploited in commercial sex and factory work, as well as about 1,000 American-born children who are forced into prostitution. The report cites weak laws on human trafficking, a growing demand for cheap labor, and Ohio’s proximity to the Canadian border as the key reasons modern-day slavery thrives in our state.

Cleveland Strip Clubs: City leaders react to latest Vic’s incident
… When he combined those two licenses, he thought he was getting over,” Bullocks said. “But he just gave himself a little more time to do business. Nothing has changed and, if anything, Vic’s is becoming worse than any of the bars we have closed or tried to close.”
Bullocks said he had no other details about the nuisance abatement or if that will ultimately be the route the city takes to quiet the crime at Vic’s. However, it’s just one of several tactics that are being explored by the Police Department and Law Director’s Office.
As for the stabbing, police are still investigating.
Officers took as evidence a black and camouflage Mossberg folding knife they found on the floor near a stripper pole and several items of bloody clothing. Officers also found several torn small plastic bags on the floor of the bar.

Cleveland Escorts: Man receives probation for sex with underage teen
ELYRIA – A New London man avoided prison time Friday when he was sentenced on charges he and another man streamed their sexual encounters with an underage girl over the Internet.
Max Torgerson, 22, was given five years probation by Lorain County Common Pleas Judge James Burge during the sentencing hearing, which took place a week after he pleaded guilty to charges of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, compelling prostitution and importuning.
The other man, 19-year-old Darrin Karnik, also received probation when he was sentenced earlier this month after pleading guilty to similar charges.
The men was arrested in September by Amherst police after officers received a complaint from a mother who said her 14-year-old daughter was having sexual relations with two adults. The mother told police that those sexual encounters had been broadcast over the Internet for
