You might remember Kip Winger as the guy who sang about banging 17-year-old girls as frontman for the late-’80s metal band Winger.
While most of his hair-metal pals can be found these days whining about how hard it is to get stripper girlfriends once you’re fat and broke, 50-year-old Winger has aged with amazing grace.
For nearly two decades, he’s been studying composition and writing classical music, including pieces for the San Francisco Ballet. That’s what brought him to Oberlin College last week, where he spent three days rehearsing and recording his latest piece for the ballet Conversations With Nijinsky, which scholars confirm is not at all about nailing chicks. Helping Winger was an orchestra of 60 students from the college’s music conservatory.

Hagenbuch, chairman of Philippi-Hagenbuch, Inc., announced that he and Hitachi Construction Machinery, the HCM Group, which includes Hitachi Truck Manufacturing company and Wenco International Mining Systems Ltd, have expanded their existing license agreement to include collection of real-time data. The original license agreement from January 2000 between LeRoy G. Hagenbuch and Euclid-Hitachi Heavy Equipment, encompasses various vehicle management systems patents. Under the agreement, LeRoy G. Hagenbuch grants HCM a nonexclusive license in the United States and Canada to utilize the technology represented by these patents to produce HCM products covered by these patents.

Ellwood said he set up the Bare Pool visit for Dimora and others through businessman Ferris Kleem. He said he met Kleem at a Cleveland Browns game while in Cleveland on a marketing trip and said he saw him between four and six times a year.
Kleem, who is cooperating with federal prosecutors, also has admitted that he paid thousands of dollars for an April 2008 Las Vegas gambling trip for Dimora, then Cuyahoga County Auditor Frank Russo and Parma politician and county employee J. Kevin Kelley.
Kleem’s Blaze construction won a $2.9 million road-resurfacing contract and had a handpicked inspector assigned to the job.
Ellwood identified Dimora in court today, but said he did not know in 2008 that Dimora was a public official.
He also testified that the woman that Kleem paid for to visit Dimora in his hotel room was a bartender and a stripper who charged “like $500,” ostensibly for a massage.

Blatt grew up in Beachwood and attended Ohio State University for several years, hoping for a degree in broadcast journalism. That didn’t work out, so he dropped out of OSU and returned to Cleveland, working a variety of jobs around town, including security and “schlepper” at music clubs like Peabody’s DownUnder and the Empire. He sold ads for WNCX FM/98.5, too; he even worked as a DJ at various strip clubs around town.

The interstitials don’t require very much from White. They make use of the same sexually suggestive humor that has defined her career up to this point, but the writing feels so tired and lame. She refers to Jon Hamm getting a restraining order against her, puts icing on a male stripper’s chest, and gives out “Pearls of Wisdom” to close the show. It reminded me of a phrase a Q&A participant used to describe one of Kevin Smith’s films in An Evening With Kevin Smith: dumb, but harmless. That’s exactly what Off Their Rockers is, nothing more than a dumb, but harmless use of one of the great comedic character actresses in television history. As the woman says herself at the end of her birthday special, this is the “ultimate overdose” of Betty White, but it couldn’t have happened to a nicer person.

He has apologised for any offence caused, but Labour MP Tom Blenkinsop accused him of holding “clearly expressed Islamophobic views”.
The Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland MP raised the issue with Commons leader Sir George Young.

STRONGSVILLE
PSYCHIATRIC/ROYALTON ROAD: A woman called police Dec. 27 complaining someone was playing stripper music and she thought strippers were trying to get into her room. All was quiet when officers arrived, but the woman called again about an hour later saying someone was trying to get into her room. About 90 minutes later the woman called a third time claiming that there was loud stripper music coming from a unit beneath hers. According to reports, the same woman had had called on Christmas Day claiming “some violent felons were going to teach her some respect.” No one was found. The woman will be contacted regarding her psychological situation as well as housing.
RECOVERED STOLEN/TIMBER EDGE PLACE: A neighbor was awakened by a couple of loud bangs outside his house Dec. 26. He saw a red car by his neighbor’s house, but knew that neighbor was elderly and asked someone to check it out. The son said someone must have stolen the car, hit a mailbox and returned it.
