Cleveland Strip Clubs: WilliamShatner is laughing at life and bringing his iconic one-man show to …
… This is some kind of joke, right?” he said. “This isn’t true. Where did you get this?”
His voice had changed. He seemed serious.
Yikes.
“Please don’t take this the wrong way,” I said.
“No, no, no,” he said. “She was more than inspirational to me. She was my adolescent dream. I used to sneak in to see her perform as a boy.”
“What about Leonard Cohen?” I said, referring to another famous Montrealer. “I’ve always thought of you as a burlesque queen and a poet.”
“Yes, yes, yes,” belted Shatner, with full-on drama. “Leonard Cohen is the poetry of words and Lili St. Cyr is the poetry of the strip tease. Yes, of course,” he continued. “These two things are fully linked in my mind. This is what my show is all about.”

Cleveland Adult Entertainment: Cleveland police chief outlines casino security plan
The Horseshoe Casino Cleveland is to open May 14 on Public Square. McGrath said city police and others have been working for more than a year on a plan to combat crime, both on the casino floor and on the streets.
Inside and on the casino perimeter, 100 to 120 security officers hired by the casino — officially known as ambassadors — will work in shifts, McGrath said. He said the casino also will hire off-duty Cleveland police and Cuyahoga County sheriff’s deputies and monitor more than 1,000 surveillance cameras.
McGrath said the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation will have agents to deal with scams against a casino that could take in $800,000 a day.
He said Steven Dettlebach, U.S. attorney for northern Ohio, will oversee a federal task force that will keep an eye out for signs of organized crime or prostitution rings.

Mone heads north on West 41st Street. We’re talking about an 18-year-girl who was abducted, raped and thrown out of a van last August. A witness followed the suspect to Rocky River where Walter Jackson, 63, was arrested. A convicted felon, Jackson goes to trial next month on kidnapping, rape and felonious assault charges. What makes the case notable is the courage of the survivor. She ratted out the rat. That almost never happens. Prostitutes are easy prey. The girl was well known to 2nd District vice. She had been charged with prostitution four times by the age of 17.

Cleveland Adult Entertainment: Michael Symon Nephew Charged With Tagging
6. The 19 Action News report is weird. They show us a bunch of graffiti, but we have no idea if it’s the graffiti these two put up. At the end of the report the reporter notes that most of the graffiti she just showed us was in a “designated area” for graffiti, not on West 41st. I’m not sure, but at one point in the report they show us an image of some graffiti art that appears to be frm this case’s file. That looks like pretty good graffiti art to me. There’s a lot of ugliness around West 41st and Lorain: Crack dealers, addicted street prostitutes, armed robbers, decaying and neglected houses and buildings, etc. Is it really so bad if someone does a little artwork among so much misery?

When the Mega Millions jackpot was $540 million, we asked our Facebook friends what “unusual” things they would do if they hit the big prize. Many said they would assist charities and relatives, but several had some novel ideas both serious and otherwise.
Feel free to add your ideas in the comments section below the story.
Johnny: I’d buy all the local news stations and prevent them from ever having another minute by excruciating minute of a “snowpocalypse” event.
Joyce: I’d run naked through downtown.
Elizabeth: build a safehouse/emergency shelter for girls picked up for prostitution (girls who are being trafficked) to come to in the middle of the night to stay until they can get into a long term rehabilitation facility. And probably get a dog
