A 20-year-old Lawton Street male was charged with felony carrying a concealed weapon gun, felony tampering with evidence and improper handling of a weapon March 29. The day before, the suspect allegedly drove a vehicle to a Thurston Street location and parked it on the street with a gun in plain view in the vehicle. He also reportedly hid the keys to the vehicle and lied about driving it.
Two people — a 41-year-old Kelly Avenue male and a 32-year-old Waterford Court female — were arrested for loitering to engage in solicitation March 29 at 3:15 a.m. after officers pulled over the man, whom they had seen driving around an area known for prostitution, with the woman, a known prostitute, in his car at West Market and South Maple streets.
