Strip club helps Haiti, a lotion thief, a bearded wife, and more: 5 headlines you might have missed

1. Ladies for Haiti: A Toledo strip club has raised $1,000 for Haiti relief during what was billed as “Lap dances for Haiti.” The club donated the $10 cover charges collected Feb. 6. A local relief organizer whose group received the funds said she has no problem with where the money came from.
2. Quest for smooth skin: A Massachusetts man was arrested after police say he tried to walk out of a Bath & Body Works store with 75 bottles of lotion hidden in his pants. He tried to flee from security guards but “had a hard time running and was extremely bowlegged,” police said.
3. Close shave: An Arab ambassador in Dubai had his marriage annulled after he discovered his veiled bride had a beard and was cross-eyed. The woman had kept her face covered throughout their courtship. “The bride had a nice personality, but there was a good reason why she was hiding her looks,” said a wedding guest.
