Cleveland Adult Entertainment: Adult in Ohio Craigslist case charged with murder
AKRON, Ohio – A self-styled chaplain suspected in a deadly scheme to rob people who replied to a Craigslist job ad has been charged with multiple counts of aggravated murder, kidnapping, and robbery and could face the death penalty if convicted, according to an indictment announced yesterday.
Richard Beasley is charged with killing three men and wounding a fourth in August, October, and November.
Beasley, 52, of Akron, who has been jailed in Akron on unrelated prostitution and drug charges, has denied involvement in the Craigslist slayings. He was arrested in November.
Prosecutors would not speculate on a motive but Attorney General Mike DeWine, who joined in announcing the charges, said investigators are looking at “serial killings.’’
The 28-count indictment against Beasley also included theft, weapons, and identity theft charges.

… They were men down on their luck looking for jobs who, in a challenging economy, had answered an ad to work on a farm,” DeWine said. “In difficult economic times, these men took advantage of an opportunity to have a better life. Tragically, they ended up dead.
“I am shocked and sickened by how technology and the Internet were used in this case to draw in vulnerable people and then execute them.”
More bodies possible
Authorities have investigated, but have not determined whether there are more victims, including some alleged prostitutes. In a separate indictment, Beasley is accused of using an Akron house that he owned and opened to help recovering drug addicts and scofflaws, as a front for prostitution.
At about the time the killings started, Beasley was wanted in Summit County for failing to appear in court while free on bond for the prostitution and drug-trafficking charges. His arrest on the prostitution case triggered a warrant in Texas for a parole violation stemming from a burglary conviction in the 1980s.

Cleveland Adult Entertainment: Howard the Duck: Trapped in a World He Did Not Make
As mentioned hitherto, Howard is not a “cutesy” or child-like creature. He smokes, drinks, partakes in adult entertainment, etc. Also he demanded respect early on from his soon-to-be-friend and punk rocker Beverly; during his first night on Earth he reluctantly stays with musician Beverly Switzer. Beverly offers Howard a refreshment saying, “Would you like something to drink? I have milk… I could put it into a bowl…” Howard quickly answers, “Do you have any beer?” During a subsequent conversation Beverly woefully points out that she never considered herself responsible enough for pets saying that it would be too hard for her to “…clean up their little poo poos” to which Howard coldly responds, “I’ll try my best [not to make a mess].” Embarrassed, Beverly explains that she wasn’t talking about him though the audience has been made clear of the fact that Beverly did perceive Howard as a traditional cute or pet-like alien. Beverly’s assumption that Howard is childlike or pet like is one that is seen consistently within Hollywood alien encounters.

Cleveland Strip Clubs: Jimmy Dimora trial: everyone back in the pool again with ‘European style bathing’
Ellwood said he set up the Bare Pool visit for Dimora and others through businessman Ferris Kleem. He said he met Kleem at a Cleveland Browns game while in Cleveland on a marketing trip and said he saw him between four and six times a year.
Kleem, who is cooperating with federal prosecutors, also has admitted that he paid thousands of dollars for an April 2008 Las Vegas gambling trip for Dimora, then Cuyahoga County Auditor Frank Russo and Parma politician and county employee J. Kevin Kelley.
Kleem’s Blaze construction won a $2.9 million road-resurfacing contract and had a handpicked inspector assigned to the job.
Ellwood identified Dimora in court today, but said he did not know in 2008 that Dimora was a public official.
He also testified that the woman that Kleem paid for to visit Dimora in his hotel room was a bartender and a stripper who charged “like $500,” ostensibly for a massage.

Cleveland Strip Clubs: From Charlie Sheen’s porn-star trysts to Paris Hilton’s sex tape, Kevin Blatt …
Blatt grew up in Beachwood and attended Ohio State University for several years, hoping for a degree in broadcast journalism. That didn’t work out, so he dropped out of OSU and returned to Cleveland, working a variety of jobs around town, including security and “schlepper” at music clubs like Peabody’s DownUnder and the Empire. He sold ads for WNCX FM/98.5, too; he even worked as a DJ at various strip clubs around town.
He and his brother, Darren, moved to San Diego in 1996, looking for “something more conducive to what we liked, namely good weather and beautiful girls.” He worked at a concert club in San Diego, dabbled in music management and wound up as the DJ/manager of a strip club called Pure Platinum. Blatt eventually did marketing and sales for websites in the then-nascent (and very profitable) Internet pornography business.

Cleveland Strip Clubs: Betty White’s 90th Birthday: A Tribute to America’s Golden Girl/Betty White’s …
The interstitials don’t require very much from White. They make use of the same sexually suggestive humor that has defined her career up to this point, but the writing feels so tired and lame. She refers to Jon Hamm getting a restraining order against her, puts icing on a male stripper’s chest, and gives out “Pearls of Wisdom” to close the show. It reminded me of a phrase a Q&A participant used to describe one of Kevin Smith’s films in An Evening With Kevin Smith: dumb, but harmless. That’s exactly what Off Their Rockers is, nothing more than a dumb, but harmless use of one of the great comedic character actresses in television history. As the woman says herself at the end of her birthday special, this is the “ultimate overdose” of Betty White, but it couldn’t have happened to a nicer person.
